Wide enough for a full roast or a simple arrangement of fruit and cheese, the Farmhouse Oval Platter is hand-thrown in Los Angeles from stoneware and finished in a custom eggshell glaze. Its 18" form develops warm tonal variation from center to rim as a natural result of the firing process.
Food-Safe Eggshell Glaze
Free of lead and cadmium and built with maximized silica content, the glaze creates a food-safe, stable finish that cleans easily. All clay bodies are certified non-toxic, and firing at over 2000°F gives the stoneware the density it needs for years of regular use. Each piece comes out of the kiln with its own tonal character.
