Both modern and rustic, our Bare pitcher is the perfect vessel for bringing water, wine or whatever to the table. Cast from the original hand thrown piece, you see and feel the artist's touch. It makes a beautiful vase as well.

DBO leaves off the texture with their Bare collection. It’s all about the form. Enhanced with their favorite glazes that show movement and variation, Bare is so much better than basic. They developed their own glaze recipes and mix them in small batches regularly.  

The mussel glaze is a moving gun metal with a metallic sheen. An absolutely beautiful glaze it is can have matte areas as well as glossier areas depending on the piece and thickness of application.

The snowflake glaze is a satin finished warm white. You will see some gentle sparkly sheen, hence the name snowflake. It is a warm white. You may see some organic specks on your piece, we do not consider these defects, just part of the handmade nature of DBO Home’s work.

There will be variation. As is inherent with handmade pieces each vase is completely unique and natural variations will occur. There will be variation in color and size. No two pieces will be alike.

Porcelain is the strongest of the clay bodies, chip resistant and impervious to liquids making it ideal for everyday use. 

Each piece is made to order. The firing and glazing process requires approximately 15 business days before they are ready to be shipped.
