This versatile porcelain Cheeseboard is made by rolling thin slabs of porcelain and pressing them into a honeycomb pattern that comes directly from the beehive. Each piece is hand cut and formed so no two are alike. Before firing, cheeseboards are wiped with a rich grey glaze that’s wiped off. They are then dipped in a bright white gloss combined with a soft pale grey and fired to 2200ºF. This enhances the beauty of the natural porcelain.
Porcelain is the strongest of the clay bodies, chip resistant and impervious to liquids making it ideal for everyday use.
