We love the timeless shape and absolute simplicity of this versatile wine decanter. It’s made from recycled glass bottles and jars that are gathered in Eswatini (formerly known as Swaziland). The glass is melted in furnaces that are powered by recycled engine oil, then mouth-blown by local glass artisans and transformed into stunning new products.
Ngwenya glass has a refined quality unlike any other recycled glass. This is in part because the Ngwenya glass blowers are trained by the company’s original glass artisans, masters who studied the ancient art at influential design firms in Sweden during the 1970’s.
